(H. H. B. Yol. 6, No. 1,859.) Calved May 20th, 1880. Imported by us 1881. About three-fourths black, with star.

Sire, Feereman's bull.

Dam, Zwaartkop, gave in one day 73 1-5 lbs of milk.

Careno calved when twenty-three months old, and gave the day she was two years old 49 lbs. 4 oz. of milk, 1,350 lbs. 6 oz. in one month, and 12,115 lbs. 2 oz. in one year.

Bred to Netherland Prince, June 21st, 1884.

No. 146. MOTTLED BEAUTY. No. 224.

(H. H. B. Vol. 6, No. 2.828 ) Calved January 5th, 1881. Imported by us August, 1882. Two-thirds black, large strip in face, handsomely marked.

Sire, District bull of Binnewysend.

Dam, Aafke, gave when five years old 87 lbs. in one day.

Mottled Beauty gave 7,789 lbs. 4oz. of milk in eight months and twenty-three days as a two-year-old, and this season has given 54 lbs. 10 oz. in one day, and 7,314 lbs. 9 oz. in five months and nineteen days, to Sept. 26th.

She is sister to Mottled Beauty II. No. 205, and dam of Mottled Beauty 3d, No. 420.

No. 147. CLOTHILDE 2d.

(H. H. B. Vol. 5, No. 1,451.) Imported by us in September, 1880, in dam. Calved January 24th, 1881. Black and white, star, spots on body, white legs, belly and end of tail.

Sire, Jonges' bull.
